As a foundational member of the Unearth team, you’ll be working side-by-side with the executive and founding staff.  As one of of the first sales executives, you’ll be asked to dive deep into our target market, learn about all the wide range of customer personalities, and to develop comprehensive tactics for reaching prospective customers and driving opportunities to close.  If you’re looking to grow as a person and in your career, there will be no better opportunity.  You’ll get to learn directly from experienced product gurus who’ll share their expertise while giving you the freedom to make decisions most other folks spend entire careers wishing they were allowed to make.

Duties

  • Be responsive to every customer inquiry
  • Proactively manage your schedule, leads pipeline, and campaigns in order to meet milestones and quarterly objectives
  • Meet or exceed your quota through self-directed  prospecting & lead qualification
  • Engage potential clients by phone, email, and other digital methods
  • Thoroughly understand and demonstrate Unearth’s platform benefits during phone and web-based presentations to prospective customers
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections, competitive questions, and other FAQs
  • Help own the success of every customer by being their champion from pilot through to full implementation
  • Create and execute a sales plan together with marketing and sales leadership
  • Provide value added market intelligence to the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams

Qualifications

  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is preferred
  • 2+ years relevant software sales or account management experience with a proven record of success
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct extensive cold calls and email campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written), ability to present, pitch, and close
  • Strong logistical, process, and time management skills

Preference given to:

  • 3+ years experience in technology industry (high tech or tech startup) or B2B sales in target markets: Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC)
  • Previous inside sales experience selling solutions to medium sized businesses and privately owned/operated businesses
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and function in a startup environment
